a collaborative exhibition
Six sketches of this tranquil tidal estuary, split with hill and sandbank, and beneath heavy sky. Another example of how, even at the same site and during the same sitting, the focus of attention can change. Drawing obviously necessitates and encourages close observation. Consecutive drawings are launced from the last, causing variation and development. The changing light, tide and cloud formation also adds to the variation.
